WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK


Waterton lakes national park is like a virgin beauty; untouched, attractive, pure, known by few but dreamt by most. Waterton is endowed with the magnificent Rocky Mountains, immaculate lakes, miles of pristine trails, acres of wildflowers and centuries of fascinating history. This is why; it is the only place in the world to be designated as all three: an International Peace Park, UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Biosphere Reserve.
Waterton Lakes National Park is located in the southwest corner of Alberta, Canada. Waterton – Glacier International Peace Park is on the border shared by the Waterton National Park, Alberta and the Glacier National Park, Montana. Waterton Park is a blend of mild climate, unusual geology, abundance of wildlife, rare wild flowers and very calm and peaceful surroundings.
Waterton Lakes National Park, in its tiny 505 square km footprint, has a long list of breathtaking natural beauty and interesting in and out of the park cultural attractions. On top of that, the areas surrounding Waterton Park are also rich in history and natural wonder.
